Freeedom of the Press and its Legal Implications

I would like to share my own opinion and views about freedom of the press and its legal implications. Nowadays, blogging in relation to the advent of the new media is popular. It's easy for individuals to share what they witnessed in public, may it be good or bad. The traditional media has been understood based on the ability of the public to speedily learn the news.

However, the freedom of the press has been construed deeply that some people forgot the essence of personal freedom as a human being. In the case of what happened to Mon Tulfo and the Santiagos, let us go back to the basic principles of freedom. It's true that a journalist has the right to take photos or videos if there's something worthy to talk about in a form of news. But it should not be done in a situation that will make the subject more irate because of the frustrating situation he or she is facing at the moment. If freedom of the press is used to violate the rights of others, then it shouldn't be used in any way.

The issue is now in the courts of justice so I will no longer add my views. I'll just wait for your comments about the issue for discussion purposes.
