Thoughts On Crimes Against Students In Universities

It is the responsibility of parents to remind their children about safety and prudence. While they are in the confines of their school campuses, they must be reminded of the possibility of criminals who are waiting for their next victim. But the recent cases of violence within premises of campuses and schools demand greater emphasis on safety and dedicated service of peace and order personnel.

It is true that police officers are not part of the security regulations within a university or school. So, it is essential that increased security efforts are applied around its location, especially during nighttime - the favorite time of criminals to attack their victims. Let us not wait for these isolated cases to escalate and become a widespread problem.

Justice is one of the most-sought after elements of peace and order. Without justice, the families of crime victims are left on the corner, clamoring for retribution and vengeance from the perpetrators. That's why the willingness of witnesses to help solve every criminal case is part of seeking justice - perhaps, the greatest part.

As we are all part in this scary world, let us take care of each other. If we have the opportunity to prevent violence within campus and university premises,  let us do our part.  That way, we will able to eradicate ruthless killings and murder that defies the essence of life and application of knowledge to the highest level. After all, criminals defy life and chose to abandon the knowledge that life isn't their cycle to stop.
